After checking in with our reception team, a knowledgeable technician will take you to one of three exam rooms, stopping to weigh your pet on our large scale if your pup weighs more than 20 pounds. Once in the exam room, if your pet weighs less than 20 pounds, they are placed on a smaller scale for a more accurate weight. The technician will then begin by asking you some general questions about your pet’s health history and discuss recommended testing and preventative treatments (vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal testing, for example). You can also address any questions concerning your pet’s health at this time. Once this is completed, the technician will check your pet’s heart and respiratory rate and temperature. They may also collect any needed samples at this time (stool, blood). The doctor then performs a complete examination from head to toe, and performs needed vaccinations and other treatments. The doctor will also address any concerns or questions you may have and your pet will receive a complimentary nail trim if desired. After the examination our team will dispense any preventative or other medications you need (heartworm, flea and tick, Oravet Chews) and check you out in the exam room. As payment we accept all credit cards, care credit, and cash.
