Allison, Professional Groomer

Allison was born and raised in Manhattan, KS and lived her entire life. Allison has 2 dogs and 3 cats that she enjoys spending her time with. Also, she has a love for grooming animals and can't wait to provide a caring and compassionate groom to everyones' pets!

Sydney, Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Sydney joined our Animal Doctor Blue Hills Team in May 2021. She is originally from a small town in Kansas and moved to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University. Following, she graduated with her Bachelors in Animal Sciences in May 2023. Sydney has always known she wanted to work with animals and is still deciding what is next. In her spare time Sydney enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her 3 dogs Cocoa, Aries, & Luna.

Daisy, Veterinary Assistant

Daisy is originally from Smith Center, Kansas, and moved to Manhattan to attend school. She is currently enrolled in K-State’s pre-veterinary program and wishes to continue to pursue a career in the veterinary field. In her spare time, Daisy enjoys baking, hiking, and gardening.

Deanna, Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Deanna is originally from Olathe, KS and moved here while her husband attends KSU for
his doctorate in veterinary medicine. Deanna plans to pursue a career in grooming after her
husband completes his DVM. She has two dogs and one crazy cat!

Nick, Veterinary Assistant

Nick Arneson originates from Junction City, KS and currently lives in Manhattan. On any given day, you can find Nick at either our Junction City or our Blue Hills location in Manhattan. His goal is to become a veterinarian. Nick is a cat whisperer! He can gently handle and comfort the most grumpy and scared cats. He enjoys basketball, road trips, and running. Nick has two black cats at home, Lincoln, and Lou (short for Lucifer).

Cara, Veterinary Assistant

Cara is from Columbus, Ohio and recently moved to Kansas with her husband while he is stationed at Fort Riley. she is currently studying and working to become a registered veterinary technician. She has 3 cats and in her free time she enjoys reading and painting.

Skylar, Veterinary Assistant

Skylar is currently attending Kansas State University pursuing a Bachelors in Fisheries, Wildlife, Conservation and Environmental Biology. She has always had a passion for animals, especially exotics. In the future she hopes to become a zoo veterinarian. In her free time she likes to play video games and do anything with nature.  

Brooke, Veterinary Assistant

Brooke is originally from Kearney, Nebraska and recently moved here while her husband is stationed at Fort Riley. She had recently completed certification in dog training. Back home she had taught puppy preschool and basic obedience. She is currently in school to become a registered veterinary technician. In her free time she enjoys working with her dog Oakley for rally and obedience competitions, spending time outdoors with her dogs, and supporting a local dog rescue in Nebraska. She has a total of 5 pets at home. She has 3 dogs, Oakley, Ross (who was a foster fail when she adopted him in March of 2024), Josie, a crazy cat named Ferguson, and a leopard gecko named Noodle.

Rylynn, Veterinary Assistant

I moved to Manhattan Kansas from Greenwood Indiana to purse the one year biomedical sciences masters program at Kansas State University and plan on pursuing my DVM after finishing the masters program. I have worked with small, large, and exotic animals. In my free time I enjoy playing with my dog and am also apart of the equestrian club!

Macy, Veterinary Assistant

Macy is from a small town in Kansas where she recently graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science & Industry. She lives in Manhattan in hopes to attend vet school in the future to become a full fledged veterinarian. She has a love for reptiles and lives with her ball python, Mochi, her dog, Iris, and her cat, Butternut.

Kristin, Veterinary Assistant

Kristin is from Wellington, Kansas, and moved to Manhattan to further her education
with animals, and to gain experience in treating pets. Kristin has a cat named
Cheeto, and she likes to read, spend time with friends and family, and fish in her
spare time. Like many of our team members, Kristin’s goal is to become a mixed
animal veterinarian.

Sarah, Veterinary Assistant

Sarah is from Washington State and recently moved to Kansas to pursue higher education. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2016 and has a lot of experience in both General Practice and Emergency for Large Animals, Small Animals and Exotics. She has her Fear Free certification, Medication Clerk License, Radiology Tech Certification as well as certified in both Recover ALS and BLS CPR. In her Free Time she enjoys reading, video games, and spending time with her dog Percy.
