In her spare time, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, husband, nephews, and fur babies.

Shelia, Veterinary Assistant

My name is Sheila and I have loved working with animals for as long as I can remember. It started when I moved to Kansas when I was 7 and we had numerous barn cats. Then I volunteered at the original Animal Doctor location when I was in high school. I started my first job as a kennel tech, and then worked at an animal shelter and now I work here at Animal Doctor. A little about me is that I have two cats named Goddess and Oliver and I am also on a bowling league. I am currently working on my medical laboratory science degree and hope to graduate by next winter.

Annie, Veterinary Assistant

I am a current student at Kansas State and I plan to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I started at an emergency vet hospital where I was able to assist in surgery on a lion! In my free time, I love to play volleyball, swing dance, and DIY anything you could think of. You'll often times see me with my dog, June, who loves to make new friends and shred her toys.

Izzy, Veterinary Assistant

I would like to pursue a career in the veterinary medicine field hoping to do mixed practice. I just graduated high school and throughout my senior year I had the opportunity to do an internship here at Animal Doctor, I will be starting school at Kansas State in the Fall of 2024.  I was raised by my parents Justin and Ruthie. My sisters are Hannah and Ariana and have a dog Riley. Some of my hobbies include playing volleyball, hanging out with my sisters, and doing different DIYS.

Crook & Chase, Clinic Cats

The friendly furry faces that greet you at Animal Doctor are Crook and Chase. These two pranksters may look similar, but they have very distinct personalities. Crook is the “evil twin” and is so named after the crook in his tail from previous trauma. Chase is his sweet, mischievous, more svelte brother. Crook and Chase were adopted by the Animal Doctor family in 2008 as sick kittens that stole a place in our hearts. You can often see them hard at work around the clinic!
