Lauren, Registered Veterinary Technician
Lauren joined our Animal Doctor Blue Hills Team over a year ago. She was born and raised in Concordia, Kansas. After, she graduated from Colby Community College in 2021 with a degree in Veterinary Nursing. Currently she is enrolled at Kansas State University in the Pre-Veterinary Program. In her free time Lauren enjoys riding horses and traveling.
Allison, Professional Groomer
Allison was born and raised in Manhattan, KS and lived her her entire life. Allison has 2 dogs and 3 cats that she enjoys spending her time with. Also, she has a love for grooming animals and can't wait to provide a caring and compassionate groom to everyones' pets!
Sydney, Veterinary Assistant
Sydney is originally from a small town in Kansas and moved to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University. Following, she graduated with her Bachelors in Animal Sciences in May 2023. Sydney has always known she wanted to work with animals and is still deciding what is next. In her spare time Sydney enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her 3 dogs Cocoa, Aries, & Eclipse.
Mabel, Veterinary Assistant
Mabel is from Hutchinson, Kansas and is currently attending Kansas State University pursuing a Life Science/Pre-Veterinary degree. During her free-time, Mabel likes to read and hangout with her friends and family. Mabel has a cat and 3 dogs at home.
Ashley, Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Ashley was born and raised in Eastern Colorado. She grew up on a farm so she has always had a passion for working with animals. Ashley graduated in 2017 with a degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma Panhandle State University. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, baking, and working with her dad and brother on the farm. Ashley plans to stay in the veterinarian field and hopes to go to vet school in the future.
Daisy, Veterinary Assistant
Daisy is originally from Smith Center, Kansas, and moved to Manhattan to attend school. She is currently enrolled in K-State’s pre-veterinary program and wishes to continue to pursue a career in the veterinary field. In her spare time, Daisy enjoys baking, hiking, and gardening.
Kaylee, Kennel Technician
Kaylee is from Overbrook, KS and recently graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Animal Sciences. Her goal is to continue a career in Veterinary Medicine with hopes of becoming a large animal veterinarian. Kaylee and her fiancé love traveling, hiking, camping, kayaking, horseback riding and fishing. They have two horses named Dakota and Cowboy; and a dog named Kona.
Penelope, Veterinary Technician
Penelope is originally from El Paso, Texas where she graduated from Pima Medical Institute in their Veterinary Technician program in 2021. Penelope and her husband have been stationed here in Kansas since 2019. Penelope currently has 3 cats and 1 dog. In her free time, Penelope loves to read and play video games.
Deanna, Receptionist
Deanna is originally from Olathe, KS and moved here while her significant other attends KSU for his doctorate in veterinary medicine. Deanna will be attending Purdue's distance learning program in fall 2023 for her veterinary nursing degree. Deanna has two dogs, Scruffy and Audrey.
Emma, Kennel Technician
Emma is from a small town in Kansas and moved to Manhattan to be closer to her friends and family. Meanwhile, she graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Biology and is currently obtaining a Master's in Statistics from Kansas State University. However, in her free time she likes to read, bake, and play video games. She also has a lovely dog named Riley and a gremlin cat named Leila.
